Book Club: Our LIVE Chat on The Hunger Games Starts Now!

Ofcourse not, they are completely not fair!! Nobody should be forced to fight for their lives in such a brutal way

I hated them but at least she gets to know Peeta for real and now that they survived they'll have enough money

I think that "Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (and other concerns) by Mindy Kaling would be a good book for the next Book Club! (:

Hey guys! I know the chat is over, but feel free to continue the conversation about the book here in the comments :-)

Also, if you have any suggestions for our next Book Club, leave your ideas here in the comments too!

XO

BOOK SUGGESTIONS:

I think we should try a classic, like The Great Gatsby, (my favorite book) Little Women, or Lord of the Flies. I've read all of these and they have SUCH great discussion opportunities.

Another more modern option is called The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls. We read that in my Literature class and it also had many great possibilities for expanding and plot discussion.

Orrrrrr Tina Fey's book.
Actually, I'm just going to read that anyway. :)

BOOK SUGGESTION:

The Hunger Games was such an amazing book, why not continue with Katniss and Peeta and see what happens when they back to District 12 with Catching Fire...

For book club suggestions, I recommend Austenland, Great Gatsby or Miss Pettigrew Lives For A Day. They're short novels and fun too.

lets read the glass castle!

Hey there, I think the Uglies Trilogy would be a really cool one! Anyone read any of those? I think it would appeal to a wide age range too! x

OMG!!! we should totally do the Uglies Trilogy...they are amazing books!!

I have not yet finished Part I, as I just joined the book club a few days ago...

but when I went out to pick up the book, I saw Catching Fire (the second book of the Hunger Games) at Target, so I went ahead and picked it up!

I am really loving this book, so I definitely think we should read all three parts!!! :)

Loved the book chat Lauren! Thanks for answering my question:) xoxo
