Love the pics, your dog is adorable :)
Last week was jam-packed. Between shooting the Paper Crown holiday lookbook, hanging with friends, kicking off my Bikini Boot Camp Plan, and trying to catch up on some much-needed sleep, it’s safe to say there wasn’t a dull moment… Here’s a peek at my past week in photos:
Got some work done at Paper Crown…
Welcome to the Paper Crown headquarters!
Shot the holiday lookbook for Paper Crown. Here is a little sneak peek:
A little post-work celebration…
Celebrated my friend’s birthday:
Well hello there handsome!
Ready. Set…
Had a date night with Jilly :-)
Woke up to this beauty beside me. Love this…
I’m a little teapot…
No joke. They called and asked for Joy… First name Almond?
Stacked.
A little something to wake me up…
What’s your favorite bit from last week (or the weekend)?

Aw, Chloe is so cute in your bed! <3 My favorite memory from the past weekend is going to my friends' son's 3rd birthday. It was so adorable watching all the little kiddies play with all his new toys. :-)

Lauren can you tell us about that couch in your bedroom and or where we can buy it? Its beauitful!
That picture of Chloe... classic!!! Love waking up to my doggies on the pillow next to me!! Rise and shine!!
Where did you get your white couch that's in the background of the picture of your sweet puppy?! It's so chic!
I hope everyone is ready for the weekend! I definitely am. Here’s a recap of my past week in photos…
I really loved this:
Aw…
Distracted at work…
I learned exactly how long it takes to get “impulse pink” out of my hair…
Oh my Essie!
Celebrated the beautiful Stephanie Pratt’s birthday last weekend…
Flew out to NYC to work on my collection for Kohl’s… Went out after work and ended up here:
Then it was back to work… These hair accessories and jewels made me happy:

The. Best. Macarons. Period.
There’s really no better way to spoil your dinner :-)
Snuck in a little bestie time with my Paper Crown partner, Maura…
Then I flew back to LA…and fell in love with these two little guys:
And this is pretty reflective of my current state of mind right now…

I hope everyone had a lovely weekend! I spent a majority of my time last week on tour for my new book, The Fame Game. I stopped in Chicago, Austin, Dallas and Houston and am finally back home in LA. The final stop on my book tour is tonight at Barnes & Noble at The Grove in Los Angeles. If you’re in the area, please stop by (Click here for all the details)! I love meeting you guys and hearing what you think about the book. Anyway, the point of this post is to show you guys what I’ve been up to this past week. So, without further ado, here is my past week in photos…
Before heading out to Chicago, I did some work at the Paper Crown offices. This book, 9 Heads, is the only book I still use from school.
Saw this and just really liked it.
Finally got to Chicago and loved these ladies’ homemade tees.
Got this cute friendship bracelet at one of the signings…
Then I was off to Texas. I felt pretty tough with my spiked collar…though it may have been offset by my headband and tweed shorts.
Isn’t that the truth? Especially if it’s early in the morning… :)
Wore denim on denim… I think it’s a definite do so long as the denims are contrasting shades.
And a little something to remember me by Dallas…
This watch was water resistant. Unfortunately, it wasn’t Lauren-proof…
Well hello gentleman…
And goodbye. (Man-eater!)
Yum! Nothing beats old-school tots…
Watched this beautiful sunset on the flight home…
Back in LA at last! Stopped by On Air with Ryan Seacrest to say hi…
Then I was off to Chelsea Lately…and this happened:
Did you come to one of my signings? Or are you coming to my LA signing tomorrow? Let me know in the comments.
Also, what do you think about the denim on denim look? Do or don’t?
XO Lauren

Photo Diary: My Trip to Coachella
I survived my very first Coachella! I had heard so many things about the music festival that I wasn’t sure what to think. But as soon as I arrived, I understood. Coachella is all about having fun, being free, and enjoying good friends and good music.
The week before we headed out, we heard it was supposed to pour on Friday. Luckily, it just drizzled and the rest of the weekend turned out to be pretty nice. Anyway, here are some photos I snapped during my trip:
On the way out, I didn’t feel great about the weather…
Once we made it out to the desert, it wasn’t as rainy as it was in LA…
As I’ve mentioned before, my friends are seasoned Coachellers…always with a camera in hand:
Coachella, here we come!
Go big or go home…
You don’t say…
My bestie, Jilly, enjoying the scene… (Click here to check out the sweet Coachella mix Jilly put together for me. I still cannot stop listening to it.)
Hanging by the pool at the Lacoste Live event. Yay for pool-chella!
Embracing body paint and temporary tattoos…
Much better than sitting on the grass…
This may not have been my best look, but I was toasty all night!
Love this.
Jilly took a quick nap-chella… (People were not kidding when they said Coachella is a marathon. I am wiped.)
Life is good.
Oh hey!
Bright idea…
Here we go again…
Off to the festival…
Just converse-ing with some old friends :-)
Loved Gotye!
All in all, I had the best time at Coachella. I ran into so many friends and really enjoyed myself. Even though the weather wasn’t ideal for day one, I cannot complain. The cooler temps were probably much more favorable than the sweltering heat of year’s past. The silver lining? I finally got to wear my rain boots…
Of all the bands, Gotye was definitely a highlight for me.
Who is your favorite band or musician from the Coachella lineup?
XO Lauren

I’m back on the road for my book tour and have been a very busy bee. Here’s a glimpse into my world over the past week or so…
Waiting in the greenroom before my interview on “The Wendy Williams Show”… (Click here to watch a snippet of my interview and see what I wore too.)
Well hello out there!
Outside The Wendy Williams Show…
Grabbed some delicious sushi and sake with an old friend… Cheers!
My friend Trey Phillips stopped by my book signing… He was pretty popular with the ladies :-)
Another early call-time for my team…
And what was that early call-time for you ask? Oh you know…just a quick 5-hour satellite media tour… No big.
Sitting on Kristin’s lap… She loves this! Can’t you tell?
Had a little treat after one of my signings. Yum!
And wow. Received this amazing cake from Cakedreams by Deb and Dinacakes… It’s too pretty to eat!
I’ll post another update soon! In the meantime, click here to see what I wore to my signing in NYC… My team will be updating the site with more photos later today too about my outfits.
Are you coming to any of my signings for The Fame Game? Or did you already? Let me know in the comments below.

I hope everyone had a great week! I only have a few more days here in Africa so I thought I’d post another photo update before heading home… Here are a few new photographs from my recent travels:
Interesting restroom signage…
Flying over Uganda…
The pilot told us that there were blue bags in our seat pockets if we needed something to keep our breakfast down. At first I didn’t understand… but then… Eww. I got it.
On the flight, I sat next to this guy. He wasn’t much for conversation.
Finally, on land again! Or should I say water? Here I am kicking back on a water safari:
Lunch time!
Hungry hungry hippos…
Look who I found in my shower…
Just checked into my hotel and they handed this to me for “emergencies.” I think this is supposed to make me feel safe. It doesn’t.
African-inspired manis!
Toast in the Uganda bush.
Spotted this cutie while gorilla trekking in the jungle:
Later we drove by this climbing lion in Ishasha…
It’s hard to believe my trip is coming to an end. I’ve had the best time exploring and learning… but I have to admit, I cannot wait to get home and see my little girl.
When you travel, what’s the #1 thing you’re most anxious to get home to?
XO Lauren
P.S. Thought this was kind of funny... This was one of the first Friday Favorites I ever posted here on LaurenConrad.com. Not much has changed, has it? :-)

Hello again! I am still in Tanzania but thought I’d post another photo update from my trip… Kufurahia (that means "enjoy" in Swahili)!
Made some friends a few days ago while visiting Msafiri!
Once again, I’m wearing my head lamp. Here I’m having a little snack before heading to the airport for an early flight to Dar es Salaam:
Once we arrived in Dar es Salaam, I was really taken aback by all the beautiful colors. Perfect inspiration for my spring collection…
Woke up bright and early… Isn’t this gorgeous?
My travel buddy, Hannah, really knows the way to my heart. She woke me up with two gifts, a bug zapper and coconut water. Perfection.
Down the hatch…
Bought some paintings while exploring. Really loved this one in particular:
Stopped by the grocery store… I guess they don’t say “one stop shop” for nothing…
Scraps. Again, more great color inspiration…
Paper bag tee… Dry-clean only.
Where do you find inspiration?
I usually find color inspo throughout my travels or in nature. Personally, I think Mother Nature has the best eye when it comes to color combinations.

Here kitty kitty…
A baby Z!
Still on safari!
Just “lion” around…
I hope you’re enjoying these photo diaries. Let me know if I should keep posting them in the comments below.
Also, what animal would you be most excited to see in the wild?
I was pretty stoked when we spotted all of the lions...

Had to wear a head lamp to give myself a manicure last night… #SafariProblems (I should have taken my own adivice!)
We were here.
Maasai warriors…
We stopped for bananas on the side of the road… Yum!
On safari… Nothing beats this moment.
We stocked up on some lovely libations…
All in all we had a really great day on safari! I’ve always wanted to come to Africa (remember it was on my 2012 to do list?) and so far this trip is completely blowing my mind. Everything is so beautiful and everyone is so kind. I can’t wait to share more photos with you…
